The text to speech (TTS) functionality on mobile devices is not managed by Alert Ready, but via the device manufacturer. Each wireless device is different, so it is difficult for us to confirm if each device will read aloud the content of an emergency alert issued by Alert Ready on a wireless device if the accessibility settings are enabled.
Alert Ready generates TTS for TV and radio. It is also up to the broadcasters to decide whether they will use the Alert Ready audio or their own.
